Alison Levine
Risk, Resolve, and Resilience: A Blueprint for Breakthrough Teams and Results
Lead Without Limits and Discover Success Strategies from Alison Levine’s Journey
AFSA is pleased to announce preeminent business leadership expert, Alison Levine, mountaineer and polar explorer, faculty member at the Thayer Leader Development Group at West Point, and New York Times bestselling author of On the Edge, as the 2026 Vehicle Finance Conference & Expo Keynote speaker.
Having spent prolonged periods of time in some of the world’s most dangerous and inhospitable places, Alison Levine tackles such topics as creating cohesive teams, taking responsible risks, and developing no-nonsense leaders who can succeed in times of uncertainty.
She has made a career in breaking boundaries and inspiring others to achieve more than they ever thought possible. A history-making polar explorer and mountaineer, Levine served as team captain of the first American Women’s Everest Expedition, climbed the highest peak on each continent, and skied to both the North and South Poles; a feat known as the Adventure Grand Slam that only 20 people in the world have achieved.
In addition to climbing mountains, Levine has also spent time climbing the corporate ladder. She had a successful career in finance, working in various positions for Goldman Sachs, as well as in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries during which she worked for Allergan and for Carl Zeiss Medical, and also for a Silicon Valley medical technology company.
When not challenging herself outdoors, Levine focuses on training others to become strong leaders. She spent four years as an adjunct professor at the United States Military Academy at West Point in the Department of Behavioral Sciences & Leadership. In 2013 she transitioned from training cadets to working with corporate leaders and currently serves on the board and faculty of the Thayer Leader Development Group at West Point, one of the nation’s premiere executive leader development programs.

A third-generation member of the Tasca family, Bob began his professional racing career in the NHRA Alcohol Funny Car category in 2006 and debuted in Nitro Funny Car in 2008. He has earned 22 NHRA event wins and in 2024, he set a world speed record at 341.68 mph, becoming the first driver ever to break the 340 mph barrier.
Away from the dragstrip, Bob Tasca III serves as CEO of the Tasca Automotive Group, one of the largest privately held dealer groups in the United States. Under his leadership, the company has expanded its retail footprint while maintaining its deeply rooted philosophy: “You Will Be Satisfied.” Tasca is known for applying a disciplined, metrics-driven approach to both business operations and motorsports strategy, balancing his dual roles as racer and executive with precision. His active involvement in the automotive retail industry continues to shape his perspective behind the wheel, creating a unique synergy between performance and customer experience.
